March 07 Joining The Gym Hey Ya'll
Last week I was getting over being sick it was terrible. I'm starting to feel better now and I've decided to join a local gym. It is kind of like Curves but not. They have a circle of equipment and you go around to each station twice. This takes about 30 minutes. You only stay at each station for about 45 sec by the time you've went around twice you really have your heart rate going. It's better than I thought it would be. Then I sat in the Sauna for 30 minutes, that was really great. From what I've read the Sauna is good for you. It is very relaxing, it allows you to burn more calories, and it cleans out the toxins out of your skin, and I read that it could help in lowering your stress levels and blood pressure. I really enjoyed the Sauna it was like sitting out side on a warm day enjoying the sunshine. I use to like going to the tanning bed in the winter because it warms your body and makes you feel better, I now believe that the Sauna is 100% better than the tanning bed. The Sauna is good for your health with out having to damage your skin in the tanning bed. Love, Love, Love the Sauna. I felt really good when I came out too, it was great. February 06 Yoga
Hey ya'll, I lost 2 lbs last week. I was happy I lost weight but I wish I would loss more. Since watching the Biggest Loser show where they were doing Yoga, I thought, "I can do that", so I was doing some research and I added a few links to our website to share with ya'll. We are going to order the DVD's and try some Yoga. I think the reason I lost two pounds last week was because I started taking those Lean Cuisine meals to work for lunch and Yogurt for snacks. I'm still doing a good job drinking more water. The only problem I'm having is drinking enough water on the weekends. At home it doesn't seem to be as easy to drink my water. At work, I get water out of the vending machine.
Watching the Biggest loser last night, I knew that Jackie was going to get tricked. That was a dirty trick they played on her buy allowing her and her son to think that they all were going to vote for Trent. I thought she was really going to let them have a piece of her mind. Those two brothers better watch out because I'm sure the group wants to get rid of them as soon as they can.
My husband Mark is feeling better now and we were really impressed that the biggest loser Mark lost weight with his foot injured, that was great for him. My husband Mark is now drinking his share of water. He is drinking 5 32oz bottles of water per day, I'm proud of him. I'm only drinking 3 20oz bottles of water.
We would like to know what everyone’s biggest weight lose obstacles is?
Everyone has one; I think mine is I work 10 hours a day and that doesn't leave a lot of room for exercising or cooking good meals. Mark says his biggest obstacles are: He works at home which allows him to do more but he doesn't know how to prepare his meals and he doesn't like working out with me. January 28 Ups and DownsWell, last week really sucked. Mark gained 5lbs and I didn't lose any again. We stopped eating out and we're drinking more water. We stopped drinking sodas and we're walking on the treadmill. I know we are not working out like they do on TV but I feel frustrated that we are not making any progress. I am thinking that maybe we should start writing down everything we eat and drink. I wonder if that would help us see what we are doing wrong.
I'm doing better on eating lunch, now I'm taking a lean cuisine dinner for lunch and yogurt for a snack. Mark is eating a bagel for breakfast, lean cuisine dinner for lunch and for dinner sometimes because I do not get home from work until 7pm now that I'm back to work. I wish we all could have a well written plan that we could follow and we all could reach our goals.
I can't wait to watch the Biggest Loser tomorrow night. January 21 Not doing something right! How's everyone doing? Mark lost two pounds this week and I lost none. I'm very upset about it. I've been walking on the treadmill and not drinking soda and drinking more water. I'm not doing something right. Maybe because its too cold! It takes more to buring my fat off. :) January 16 Baby StepsHey Ya'll, Wed are my day off from work now and I really like it because I can work Monday, Tues, Off Wed, work Thurs, Friday and be off for the weekend, it is really cool. So anyway I did all my running around today since I was off. While I was gone Mark decided to walk on the treadmill (he works from home, so he can do that) so anyway, he sprained his ankle! Now he'll have to wait till he gets well before he can start walking again. That really sucks!!!... This is why I really hate we're over weight. He really needs to exercise. If I had the money I would get him a trainer. Then I would know he is working out correctly so he doesn't get hurt. I know he could still get hurt with a trainer but I would feel better about it. I really want him to lose weight so he can do more for himself and be healthier. I know it is frustrating for him not to be able to do certain things.
I'm only losing a few pounds at a time but I feel a lot better since I started do some exercise and drinking lots more water. I also just started taking a thyroid pill and I feel like that has really given me some energy. I'm not tiered during the day like I was before. I hope I have lost all my weight by summer so I can wear smaller clothes until we get pregnant! I hope this is a good year for us and everyone else too. |
